Copper
Copper is a reddish-brown chemical element with the symbol Cu and atomic number 29. It is one of the oldest metals known to mankind and has been used for thousands of years. Copper is a highly conductive metal, making it an important material in electrical wiring and electronics. It is also a key component in many alloys, including brass and bronze, which have been used for centuries to make decorative objects, musical instruments, and tools.
Copper has many important uses beyond electrical wiring and alloys. It is an essential nutrient for plants and animals, including humans. Copper is required for the proper functioning of enzymes that are involved in many physiological processes, including energy production, iron metabolism, and connective tissue formation. Copper is also used in some medical applications, such as in antimicrobial dressings and intrauterine devices. As the world continues to develop and rely more on technology, the demand for copper is likely to continue to increase.
BullionStar also stocks a range of copper rounds and copper bars.
