2013 is the first inaugural year of the Saltwater Crocodile Series.

Bindi, known as the "Bindi Crocodile," was a massive saltwater crocodile caught in Australia’s Northern Territory and named after Bindi Irwin, daughter of the famous wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin. Measuring over 15 feet long, Bindi was one of the largest crocodiles to be captured and relocated as part of conservation efforts to protect both the crocodile and local communities.

The coin is limited to a maximum mintage of 10,000 coins.
