BullionStar, and its vault operators, handle all bullion under camera surveillance with all bullion signed for by two administration officers.
All customer owned bullion is segregated from bullion owned by BullionStar and is frequently audited internally as well as audited annually by Bureau Veritas, an LBMA-approved third party auditor.
BullionStar provides vault customers with a proof of ownership certificate that can be generated at anytime by going to Your Account > Vault Certificate.
BullionStar employs 5 different audit methods to verify the existence and correctness of your stored bullion.
1. Customer Audits
For the ultimate peace of mind, you can contact us to make a booking for a personal physical customer audit of your bullion at the vault in the Aon Centre at 1 Willis Street, Wellington 6011.
If you would like to do a physical on site audit, please bring identification matching the name on your account. There is an audit charge of SGD 199 per instance.
2. Third Party Audits
BullionStar engages the LBMA-approved auditor, Bureau Veritas, to conduct annual audits of all customer owned bullion.
Bureau Veritas verifies the physical existence of all customer owned precious metals stored by BullionStar on behalf of its customers.
Bureau Veritas also verifies that the serial numbers of randomly selected bullion bars match the serial numbers as listed in the Live Audit Report.
Bureau Veritas furthermore verifies the weight of randomly selected bullion bars against the product description of the product.

3. Live Audit Report
You can verify your holdings directly in BullionStar's system. The Live Audit Report anonymously lists all customer owned bullion per product type and vault account number.
The data for the Live Audit Report is extracted live from BullionStar's vault inventory system.
The Live Audit Report is updated in real time when bullion is processed into or out of the vault.
The Live Audit Report details all holdings for all vault accounts based on the individual vault account number, allowing for a transparent and public audit without disclosing the names and details of the account holders. This Live Audit Report also allows you to verify your own bullion in BullionStar's system.
The Live Audit Report is used as reference by the third party auditor, Bureau Veritas, in their independent audits to verify the physical existence, serial numbers and weights of customer owned bullion.
The internal audits are part of BullionStar's commitment to operational excellence that all bullion is systematically organized, meticulously enumerated and thoroughly documented.
All vault orders are prepared under high resolution camera surveillance.
When processing your bullion into vault storage, a picture is taken of your bullion, with the serial numbers visible, together with your printed order confirmation.
The pictures are uploaded to your account so that you can identify your bullion and check that the serial numbers are matching the serial numbers on your invoice and in the Live Audit Report.
5. Financial Audits
BullionStar is a fully audited company.
BullionStar is subject to annual auditing by a licensed Singaporean auditor in accordance with Singaporean law.
BullionStar's auditor does a physical stock inventory as part of the auditing process.
The result of the audit is published in the auditor's report attached to BullionStar's annual report.

Gold Bullion Products: 0.59% per annum.
Silver & Platinum Bullion Products: 0.88% per annum.
BSP Grams Gold: 0.09% per annum
BSP Grams Silver & Platinum: 0.19% per annum
Daily minimum storage fee: SGD 0.19 per storage jurisdiction. The minimum fee applies in case the calculated daily fee is below 0.19. Customer accounts holding no bullion in New Zealand or only holding free BSP Grams awarded at account opening are exempted from the minimum fee.

Customer audit of physical bullion held in the vault per instance: SGD 199
Late payment fee for storage charges: SGD 99 per reminder plus monthly interest of 2%.
Storage fees are calculated daily based on the mid-spot price of the metal at 00:01 am SGT.
Storage charges are invoiced 1 March each year or when you sell or withdraw your bullion whichever takes place first. The storage charge is calculated daily. If you e.g. store gold bullion in New Zealand on a particular day, the storage charge for that day will be SGD 30,000*0.0039/365 = SGD 0.32. The daily costs are added up for all days of the storage year to arrive at the total cost. Go to Storage Charges to view your accrued storage charges.
Q: How do I purchase bullion from BullionStar in New Zealand for storage?
A: Simply add your desired metals to the shopping cart and go to the checkout where you select “Vault Storage New Zealand” as your delivery method. When your payment has cleared, you will receive a payment confirmation e-mail and SMS text message.
BullionStar’s stock is located in a different section in the same vault as the customer vault storage which is why the processing is quick, typically 1-3 business days once your payment has cleared.
We will then proceed to process your metals into vault storage, take pictures of your metals and send you a confirmation e-mail and SMS text message when completed. You can manage all vault holdings online.
