This 5 g minted investment gold bar from Swiss gold refiner has a gold fineness of 0.9999 and comes secured in a stylish PET transparent blister pack which doubles as the bar’s assay certificate.

The front of the 5 g gold bar is stamped with the Argor Heraeus refiner stamp ‘AH’, the words ‘Switzerland’ and the bar’s weight and fine gold content. Each front of the bar is also stamped with a unique serial number.

The back of the secure presentation pack displays the weight 5 g and gold purity 9.999 of the gold bar as well as the signature of the Argor-Heraeus certified assayeur, Alessandro Ruffoni.

Argor-Heraeus is one of Switzerland’s four big gold refineries and is located in the town of Mendrisio in the Swiss canton of Ticino.

The refinery was at one time owned by Swiss bank UBS, and then owned as a joint venture between Heraeus, Commerzbank and the Austrain Mint. It is now fully-owned by prestigious German-based precious metals group, Heraeus.

Argor-Heraeus is also on the LBMA Good Delivery List for gold and is also one of the five members of the prestigious LBMA referee panel for gold refining.
