Arabian horses are one of the oldest and most influential horse breeds in the world. They have a documented history dating back over 2,000 years to the Arabian Peninsula, where they were selectively bred by Bedouin tribes for their endurance, strength, and agility.

The gold bars of PAMP have been accepted as good delivery by the Swiss National bank since 1986. 

In 2004, the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) appointed PAMP SA as one of five Referees to the London Good Delivery system.
