The 1 gram Chinese gold Panda coin, minted from 99.9% pure gold, is the smallest coin in the gold Panda coin range.

Gold Panda coins are some of the best known gold bullion coins in the world and are minted by Shenzhen Guobao Mint which is owned by China’s central bank, the People's Bank of China.

Each year the imagery on the gold Panda coins changes, and for 2020 the reverse of the gold Panda coin features a panda chewing bamboo.

The reverse face also displays the coin's weight and purity, '1g Au .999', and the coin's face value 10 Yuan.

Chinese gold Panda coins used to be issued in troy ounce weight denominations form 1982 to 2015, but since 2016 have been minted only in a range of metric weights from 1 gram up to the largest 30 gram weight.
