The reverse of the 2 oz gold coin features a Dragon among clouds with the Chinese character for Dragon displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2024.

The obverse of the coin features a head portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the words “AUSTRALIA”, and the coin’s weight and gold purity “2 oz 9999 Au”. The 2 oz gold Dragon has a face value of AUD 200.
