The popular Lunar Series is now available in its 2011 Proof edition. Perth Mint has produced Lunar Series gold coins since 1996.

The obverse features the head of state of the British Commonwealth, Elizabeth II, along with the weight of the coin, its purity and face value. The face value of the 1/4 ounce coin is A$25.

The reverse features a rabbit next to a cabbage and a pot with Chinese lettering and the Chinese character for “rabbit” also appears in the design with the Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark.

The coin is minted in .9999 purity.
