This 1 oz gold bullion coin from Australia’s Perth Mint is minted in 99.99% pure gold and celebrates the Lunar Year of the Tiger for 2022.

The Year of the Tiger coin is the third coin to be issued in the New Perth Mint Lunar Series 3. Running from 2020 to 2032, the Perth Mint's latest Lunar series of coins will feature the 12 animals In the Chinese Lunar calendar.

Those born in the Year of the Tiger are said to be brave, competitive and confident. They are very charming and well-liked by others.

The reverse of the 1 oz gold coin features majestic detail of an Tiger with the Chinese character for Tiger displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2022.

The obverse of the coin features an Ian Rank-Broadley designed portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the words “AUSTRALIA”, and the coin’s weight and gold purity “1 oz 9999 Au”.

Delivered in coin capsules, Year of the Tiger 1 oz gold bullion coins have a limited mintage of 30,000 pieces so will appeal to investors and collectors alike.
