This 15 gram Chinese gold Panda coin is minted from 0.999 fine gold by the Shenzhen Guobao Mint which is owned by China’s central bank

Each year the imagery on the gold Panda coins changes, and for 2025 features a mother panda and her two cubs in a serene and harmonious setting. This exquisite portrayal is the first design in the "Decade of Love" series to feature three pandas, and the second triple-panda design among all China panda coins after 12 years! The reverse face of the gold Panda also displays the coin's weight and purity, '15g Au .999', and the coin's face value 200 Yuan. 

The obverse of the 15 gram gold Panda features imagery of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing encircled by the words "People's Republic of China" in Chinese and the year of issue, 2025.

From their launch in 1982 through to 2015, Chinese gold panda coins were produced in troy ounce weight denomination. However, since 2016, Chinese Gold Pandas have been minted only in a range of metric weights of 30 grams, 15 grams, 8 grams, 3 grams and 1 gram.
