This 10 oz gold bullion coin from Australia’s Perth Mint is minted in 99.99% pure gold and celebrates the Lunar Year of the Snake for 2025.

The Year of the Snake coin is the sixth coin to be issued in the New Perth Mint Lunar Series 3. Running from 2020 to 2032, the Perth Mint's latest Lunar series of coins will feature the 12 animals In the Chinese Lunar calendar.

The personality traits of people born in the Year of the Snake are: ambitious, successful, intelligent, independent and charismatic.

The reverse of the 10 oz gold coin features a Snake curled among bamboo stems with the Chinese character for Snake displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2025.

The obverse of the coin features an Ian Rank-Broadley designed portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the words “AUSTRALIA”, and the coin’s weight and gold purity “10 oz 9999 Au”.
