This Lunar Gold Rooster is minted by the UK Royal Mint.

This is the fourth coin released in the popular Lunar Gold Series by the Royal Mint. 

Those born in the year of the Rooster are said to be honest, courageous and hardworking. 

The front of the coin features a Marsh Daisy Rooster, along with the inscription "Year of the Rooster," and the weight, purity and year.

The 1 oz Gold Lunar Rooster are legal tender at GBP 100.

The United Kingdom Lunar Gold Rooster is limited to a maximum mintage of 8,888, a number the Chinese consider auspicious.
