The Wiener Philharmoniker or Vienna Philharmonic Gold Coin has been produced since 1989. The coin depicts the famed Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Gold Philharmonic is generally minted in the sizes of 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz and 1 oz.
For the years 1989-2001, the 1 oz coin had a face value of 2,000 Austrian schillings. After the Euro was adopted, in 2002, the face value of the 1 oz coin was changed to €100.
