This high-lustre 10 grams minted platinum bar has a purity of 99.95% platinum and is fabricated in Switzerland at the Argor-Heraeus precious metals refinery in Mendrisio in the Swiss Canton of Ticino. 

The front of the 10 grams platinum bar displays the Argor-Heraeus refinery logo, a 'AH' motif encircled by the words 'ARGOR HERAEUS SA', The front of the platinum bar also shows the word 'Switzerland' and the bar's weight and platinum purity, '10g Platinum 999.5'. The reverse of the bar is imprinted with a recurring diagonal 'AH' motif. 

Each 10 grams minted platinum bar comes presented in its own secure transparent  blister pack which keeps the bar in minted condition. 

Argor-Heraeus was acquired by the German industrial group Heraeus in April 2017, and is now part of the Heraeus Precious Metals (HPM) group. Prior to this acquisition, the Argor-Heraeus refinery was owned by a consortium of Heraeus, the Austrain Mint, and the German bank Commerzbank.
