Minted in 99.95% pure platinum by Australia’s Perth Mint, this 1 oz Lunar platinum bullion coin celebrates the Year of the Ox for 2021.

The Ox is the second in the Perth Mint’s new Australian Lunar Series III coins. Those born in the Year of the Ox are said to be strong, reliable, fair and conscientious, inspiring confidence in others.

The reverse of the 1 oz platinum Lunar coin features detailed imagery of an Ox with the Chinese character for Ox and the year 2021 inscribed to the top left.

The obverse of the coin features a striking portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the words “AUSTRALIA”, the coin’s weight and platinum purity “1 oz 9999 Pt”, and the coin’s nominal face value 100 AUD Dollars.

The Australian Lunar Series III is the first Perth Mint lunar series to include platinum Lunar coins.

Each 1 oz Platinum bullion 2021 Lunar series coin is delivered in an original coin capsule and the 1 oz Platinum Lunar Ox is limited to a maximum mintage of just 5,000 pieces.
