1/2 oz Silver Noah's Ark from the popular Armenia Noah's Ark Series minted by the Geiger Edelmetalle.
Geiger Edelmetalle's history dates back to 1218 and thus has a long-standing reputation as a renowned German mint and refinery.
The reverse of the coin features a depiction of the Ark. In the background of the design you will see Mount Ararat, where the journey of Noah and his ark ended. Mount Ararat was a part of Armenia until the 20th century and after the first world war, when the country was divided between the Soviet Union and Turkey, Mount Ararat was given to Turkey. Even though Mount Ararat is no longer a part of Armenia, it is still a very important part of Armenian identity. In the foreground there is a dove carrying an olive branch, which, according to the Bible, portends the end of the flood. Beside this image there is imprinted the English name of the coin “Noah’s Ark” and its Armenian translation.
Each coin contains 1/2 oz of .999 fine silver.
The Armenian Noah's Ark 1/2 oz is legal tender at 200 Dram.
Individual coins are delivered in coin flips, orders in increments of 20 coins are delivered in original mint tubes, while orders of 500 coins are delivered in the original monster boxes made of wood.
