Celebrating the Chinese Year of the Snake, this 1/2 oz silver bullion lunar coin is minted by Australia’s Perth Mint in 0.9999 fine silver.

Newly issued for 2025, the Snake is the sixth of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac. The personality traits of people born in the Year of the Snake are: ambitious, successful, intelligent, independent and charismatic.

The reverse of the 1/2 oz silver lunar coin features striking imagery of a coiled Snake on the ground beneath hanging leaves, with the Chinese character for Snake displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2025.

The obverse of the coin features a Dan Thorne effigy of Australia’s monarch, His Majesty King Charles III, the coin’s weight and silver purity “1/2 oz 9999 Ag” as well as the monetary denomination. The 1/2 oz Silver Lunar Snake is legal tender at 0.50 AUD. 

Each coin comes presented in a protective coin capsule.
