This 0.5 ounce silver bullion Lunar coin is the smallest in the Perth Mint's Lunar series III, and for 2022 celebrates the 3rd animal in the Lunar calendar, the Year of the Tiger.

Perth Mint silver bullion Lunar coins are struck from 99.99% pure silver and have a detailed and high lustre finish.

The reverse of the 0.5 oz silver lunar coin features striking imagery of a tiger cub following its proud and protective parent across rocky terrain featuring ferns and bamboo along with the Chinese character for Tiger and the year 2022.

The obverse of the coin features a Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Australia’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, and the coin’s weight and silver purity “1/2 oz 9999 Ag”.

Silver Lunar Year of the Tiger bullion coins are legal tender coin within Australia and the 0.5 oz silver coin has a face value of AUD 0.50.
