This 0.5 ounce silver bullion Lunar coin is the smallest in the Perth Mint's Lunar series III, and for 2021 celebrates the 2nd animal in the Lunar calendar, the Year of the Ox.

Perth Mint silver bullion Lunar coins are struck from 99.99% pure silver and have a detailed and high lustre finish.

The reverse of the 0.5 oz silver lunar coin features striking imagery of a pair of Ox along with the Chinese character for Ox and the year 2021.

The obverse of the coin features a Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Australia’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, and the coin’s weight and silver purity “1/2 oz 9999 Ag”.

Silver Lunar Year of the Ox bullion coins are legal tender coin within Australia and the 0.5 oz silver coin has a face value of AUD 0.50.
