Third release in the Journey of Discovery series, which celebrates exploration and discovery of the unknown.

The coin depicts the moment where Vasco Da Gama first landed in Calicut, India on 20 May 1948.

The coin comes delivered in a presentation box which is kept in a drawstring pouch, similar to the way goods were transported in the 13^th century. 

Limited to a maximum mintage of 2,000 coins.
