The reverse of the 1 oz platinum Lunar coin features a Dragon among clouds with the Chinese character for Dragon displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2024.

The obverse of the coin features a striking portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the words “AUSTRALIA”, the coin’s weight and platinum purity “1 oz 9999 Pt”, and the coin’s nominal face value 100 AUD Dollars.

The Australian Lunar Series III is the first Perth Mint lunar series to include platinum Lunar coins.
