The Snake is the sixth in the Perth Mint’s new Australian Lunar Series III coins. The personality traits of people born in the Year of the Snake are: wise, intelligent, independent and charming.

The reverse of the 1 oz platinum Lunar coin features a Snake curled among bamboo stems with the Chinese character for Snake displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2025.

The obverse of the coin features a striking portrait of His Majesty King Charles III with the words “AUSTRALIA”, the coin’s weight and platinum purity “1 oz 9999 Pt”, and the coin’s nominal face value 100 AUD Dollars.

The Australian Lunar Series III is the first Perth Mint lunar series to include platinum Lunar coins.
