The reverse of the Year of the Pig silver coin features an attractive scene of an adult pig with her four piglets amid stylised foilage, with the words 'Year of the Pig' encircled below.

The obverse of the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley designed portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, monarch of Australia, with the year 2019 and the coin's weight and silver purity inscribed below. 

The 1 oz silver Australian Lunar coin is a non-circulating legal tender coin with a face value of AUD 1. Each coin comes presented in a protective coin capsule.
