This 0.5 ounce silver bullion Lunar coin is the smallest in the Perth Mint's Lunar series II, and for 2019 celebrates the 12th animal in the Lunar calendar, the Year of the Pig.

Perth Mint silver bullion Lunar coins are struck from 99.99% pure silver and have a detailed and high lustre finish.

The reverse face of the Year of the Pig silver bullion coin contains attractive imagery of an adult pig with four piglets amid stylized foliage, and the words 'Year of the Pig' encircled below. 

The front face of the coin shows a head portrait of Australia's monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank - Broadley, with the year 2019, and the coin's weight and silver purity enscribed below.

Silver Lunar Year of the Pig bullion coins are legal tender coin within Australia and the 0.5 oz silver coin has a face value of AUD 0.50.
